RICHARDS ST. In the ahupuaʻa of Honolulu, which lies in the moku of Kona here on Oʻahu, stands one of the oldest named streets on the island. We are speaking of Richards St. Reverand William F. Richards arrived in Hawaiʻi in 1823 with the second company of missionaries. At the request of Queen Keōpūolani, Richards was stationed on Maui and helped found the Lāhainā mission.
