Rhode Island authorities are responding after Brown University reported an active shooter on campus Saturday afternoon.

A shooting in the engineering building at Brown University on Rhode Island has left at least two people dead and eight injured.

The incident happened near the Barus & Holley Engineering building on the campus in Providence, Rhode Island.
