DETROIT – The Detroit Police Department has released audio and video recordings of a police shooting that occurred in Midtown last month, complying with a city ordinance requiring disclosure in cases where officers seriously injure a citizen.
Fire officials say “challenging circumstances within the house," including items that were obstacles for firefighters, made it difficult to get to the trapped victims.
The project is a collaboration between The Kresge Foundation, the Fred and Barbara Erb Family Foundation and Hudson-Webber Foundation.
