The major storm is set to hit starting on Jan. 23 and will stretch into the weekend, spreading snow and ice from the southern Plains to the Northeast.

Winter storm warnings and advisories extended from Montana to Ohio, the National Weather Service said. Forecasters warned there could be airport delays and slowed traffic with snow falling at more than an inch per hour in some areas. More than 100 homes have been damaged after a tornado touched down in a residential area outside Houston.

And then snow and rain. The Canton weather forecast for today looks downright yucky. The high temperature is expected to be 37 degrees but it will feel more like 22 thanks to a strong wind blowing at 20 mph throughout the day. Roads could be slippery.
