The Seahawks (11-3) were struggling on offense before Sunday. Seattle hasn’t scored an offensive touchdown in the first half since Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s 62-yard TD catch against Tennessee on Nov. 23. Its last first-quarter touchdown came in a win over Arizona on Nov. 9.

Seahawks have scored 6 points in the first half on offense in each of the last 3 games. That’s not going to cut it. Sam Darnold is the reason nobody takes the Seahawks seriously in the playoffs. This offense is one guy. They don’t scare anybody.

The Seattle Seahawks drew a national audience in Week 15. The focus was on their opponent, the Indianapolis Colts, who started 44-year-old legend Phillip Rivers at quarterback. The Seahawks spoiled the party for Rivers, who made his first NFL start since 2020, ending a five-year retirement period.

After Rivers led the Colts offense on a go-ahead field goal drive that put Indianapolis on top with less than a minute to play, Sam Darnold and the Seattle offense marched right back down the field to drill a kick of their own to win the game.
